I set my outlook to log into both my home and work accounts. When I sign on
at work, I get the safe mode start. I use a different laptop at home to access the accounts. Both laptops are on outlook 2007. I believe I set my accounts up with my work mail being primary. Any direction would be appreciated. I want to make sure that it is not going to be a problem, especially with my work account. thanks |

What is the error in full? Outlook only starts in Safe Mode once when an
error is detected. When you close Outlook properly, the next time it will launch in normal mode again. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "John" wrote in message ... Ok, so did it close abnormally the last time?
For instance your PC crashed, Outlook crashed, you turned off your computer without closing Outlook first, etc... The more precise and more details you post the better we can try to offer any assistance. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "John" wrote in message ... I understand. I only closed it by clicking on the red 'X' to close it. No
system crash or Outlook crash. I will post the full error upon restart. I do a normal shutdown of apps and computer and no error from anything is posted. Only the abnormal start of Outlook. I will post the full error upon restart in an hour or so. thanks "Roady [MVP]" wrote: Ok, so did it close abnormally the last time? In that case you'd be closing Outlook normally indeed. The abnormal
termination most likely takes place during the normal shutdown or the outlook.exe process is still taken hostage by something. Both scenarios are very likely to be caused by troublesome addins. correct. There is also no indication during shutdown from home. I have a
100mps router connection at home, using high speed DSL. I am not sure my university Outlook server has been updated to 07, though. It is not too much of a problem. Nothing has failed yet. I like the ability to access multiple accounts, but dont want it causing more severe problems. thanks John "Roady [MVP]" wrote: In that case you'd be closing Outlook normally indeed.
