Default Configuring Outlook Express for news

I am having a most difficult time configuring Outlook Express to read the
news. Under Accounts, Add, General I typed in "msnews.microsoft.com". No
check boxes have been checked on any tab. When attempting to subscribe I get
an error message "An Unknown Error Has Occured". Under Details, the following
is listed:
Configuration:
Protocol: NNTP
Port: 0
Secure(SSL): 0
Code: 80004005
What can I do to resolve this?

Wrong port number, it should be 119, not 0.
'Tools|Accounts|News|Properties|Advanced', make sure the "Server port
number" is set to 119.
