Default Possibility to color-code mail folders in Outlook

it's really kind of amazing that they DIDN'T anticipate the desire for such a
feature...

All they have to do is enable the same functionality as the Windows Explorer
has. This would definitely enhance the user's ability to organize their data.

I've been trying to find a way of doing this, and whole-heartedly agree with
your suggestion. Even if you could just alternate colors or shading between
successive folders, it would be a great help.

I would like to see a feature in Outlook where I can change mail folder text
color and font properties. Enabling color-coded folders and user-defined
folder appearance would help building a more effective and personalized
folder structure, especially when you have 100+ folders to scroll and move
between. The mail folder icons could also be made user-definable for
ultimate personalization.
