Since switching to Bellsouth DSL, I can receive emails, but cannot send
emails. I called my ISP and they said I need to change the SMTP port. So, I go into Outlook to change the port from 25 to 587. This worked in one account, but not the main account. The problem I have is when I change the SMTP port and hit okay, I get an Outlook error stating "The account name is already being used. Please choose another name." and does not allow me to change it. Does anyone know a fix or workaround for this? I really do not want to delete the account and recreate it. Thank you for your assistance!!! |
