After I move my .pst file from my desktop to my laptop when I go on the road,
the 'rules' I hvae set up for my different email accounts do no work. They are annotated for "this machine" and I have to go through each one and reselect the account before they work. Is there a way around this? THanks, JWB |

If your two PCs are named exactly the same and the PST is in exactly the same folder path and has exactly the same name, it might work. A better approach might be to export the rules to a RWZ file and migrate that along with the PST, importing them on the other PC. I hear that some people also have had luck creating two sets of identical rules, one set on each PC and the "on this machine" changes depending on which machine the PST is used. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
