I will try the reset and report.
To your second question: The SBS 2003 server is the network router.
http://companyweb is the default home page (via gropu policy). If the
connection problem was consistant for all domain users I would look to the GP
being the problem, the the problem exists only for the one user.

I did a detect and repair on Outlook this morning without effect.
