Yes it was an upgrade from 2003 to 2007
The indexer problem got resolved by uninstalling 2003. I was still able to
install the upgrade version of outlook.
No I haven't tried to repair. How do you go about doing that

Are you installing a stand alone version of OL 2007 or the Office 2007 pkge?
What version of Office/OL was origonally installed?
Windows Indexer? ar you refering to Windows Desk Top Search?
Have you used your cd to repair the OL installation?
