Hi all,
I have had a nasty issue with a damaged outlook profile. I did have the error: "the operation failed due to a registry or installation problem", what did lead me to articles telling me to create a new profile, so I did, it however does not solve the problem....... I have now 2 profiles, one working and one where nothing else works, except outlook starts, nothing else can be done. In the damaged profile I had an large address book, (No copy or backup) and over 25 rules managing incoming mail, forwarding rules and preventing rules. I can't make a backup and import them. Is there any way I can get these rules back from the .PST files? I do have several of these and some of them seem not to be updated after creating the new profile. I was in the middle of rebuilding the machine when this happened, hence the reason I do not have a proper backup |
