Default import my old email from previous installation of outlook

hi folks...does anyone know how to import my old stored email from my previous
installation of outlook? i'm using xp home and office 2003. my hard drive
crashed
and i had to reinstall the OS nad the outlook/office program - it's picking
up the new email but i can't seem to import the old ones...they were saved.

You never import Outlook data.
The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.

Default import my old email from previous installation of outlook

Copy from cd to Documents folder, in explorer examine properties of this pst
file and remove the read only flag.
Then in Outlook, FileOpenData File .........browse to this pst
