how could i save my shortcuts settings?

Default how could i save my shortcuts settings?

Whenever i add some folders in my shortcuts settings, they do get disappear
as soon as i log out. when i log in next time, i again have to create them as
they are not getting saved automatically.

what could be done to save it?
