Outlook 2002 not sending
It takes forever to have an email message sent unless I press "Send Receive"
I have Outlook set to do send/receive every minute when online and when off line...but it still will not send immediately when I try to send an email I have just finished and pressed "Send" for....it just sits in the Outbox...I do not get any error message and when I manually press "Send/Receive", it finally goes...what is wrong? I have Outlook 2002 and XP.

Outlook 2002 not sending
Outlook is never going to send when its offline.
Set your polling interval for 10 mins less than that can cause resource problems "Smitty" wrote in message ... I have Outlook set to do send/receive every minute when online and when off line.. WAY too short. The send/.receive interval shouldn't be less than about ten minutes. Also, if you have your antivirus program configured to scan mail, uninstall it and reinstall it without the mail scanning feature. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]
