I have been running Microsoft Office suite of programs with Vista Home
Premium for nearly a year. About a month ago I received the following alert when attempting to start Outlook: "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window. The set of folders could not be opened. The server is not available. Contact your administrator if this condition persists." I'm not running my computer on a network and I'm the only user. I can't get past this alert. I even tried uninstalling Outlook and then reinstalling it. Still, I keep getting this alert. I haven't this problem with any of the other Microsoft programs. Any idea on how I can fix this? |

In the Control Panel, mail applet, is the data file shown?
Have you tried running scanpst.exe, the repair tool, on your outlook data file? "paparulez" wrote in message ...
