Default network Outlook on home network

I have a home network, a wired PC with Windows XP, SP3, and a wireless laptop
with Vista. I want to install Outlook 2007 on both machines, and put the .PST
file in a shared folder so if I launch Outlook from either computer, I am
getting the same information (email, contacts, calendar). Will this work? Do
I need to do anything else, or is it as easy as this?
Donna
