Thank you both for your help -- I fixed it...
I searched and searched on the net for a replacement file, because the only pst file I could create was a personal one, not an Outlook default pst file. I found one mention on the net of going to the Outlook help file and clicking on "Detect and Repair" so I did it -- and it created the default outlook.pst file and it is working ok now. So if someone else has this missing pst file problem tell them to go to the help - detect and repair option to clear it up. Thanks again, Bob "Bob" wrote: This error message appears when I try to start Outlook - "Unable to open your default e-mail servers. Could not open the item. Try again." Outlook will not start. I have tried reinstalling Office XP several times, but I have been uable to reslove the error. Any one know how I can fix it? Thanks. |
