well as they say the third time is the charm. this time when i tried changing
the email location (as per your last post) it actually worked. i think
something had hung up in outlook exe that didnt allow that previously. thanks
for all your help.

The E-mail Accounts button will allow that. E-mail AccountsView ir
change existing e-mail acceountsNext. At the bottom left is a drop-down
labeled "Deliver new e-mail to the following location".

Oops. Forgot you were using Outlook 2000. In Outlook itself, if it will
start, in the Folder List, select the root of the PST you want to be the
delivery location, click FileProperties and there should be a check box
that allows you to designate that PST as the delivery location.
