I downloaded and installed ver. 12.1 from

but when I view "About Outlook Connector" it displays ver. 12.0.6414.1000 and
does NOT appear to sync the Calendar as described by the 12.1 upgrade. I
also tried to un-install ver. 12.0 first. Has anyone tried to install 12.1?

Outlook Connector 12.1 has (confusingly) indeed build number 12.0.6414.1000.
When you logon to Live Hotmail via the web, and choose Calendar, does it go
to Live Calendar or to the Hotmail Calendar?
It should go to Live Calendar or at least give you an option to choose
between the Hotmail Calendar and the Live Calendar.
Once you have linked the Live Calendar to your Live Hotmail account, the
connector will sync your Live Calendar(s) to Outlook.
In general you'll get 3 Calendars by default
-Normal Calendar
-Holiday Calendar (localized to your configured region of your Windows Live
ID)
-Birthday Calendar
