Default Outlook 07 always starts in non-responsive state?

Everytime I open Outlook 2007, it will not let me choose any of the functions
and says at the top "Outlook2007 (Not Responding), then after 30 or more
seconds it seems to reload itself and then I can use all the functions. I
have tried program in the help where it checks itself and it comes up with no
errors. I have even tried to uninstall and reinstall and still have the same
problem. I am running Vista Ultimate 32bit and Office2007 Enterprise.--

If 'allways' is true, try starting Outlook with the safe switch to see if
the problem is replicated;
Run
Outlook.exe /Safe (note space between exe /)

Safe switch prevents any addins loading, if all ok using the switch, then
one of the first things to check would be any anti virus intergration with
outlook - the cause of many issues

Having same problem " not responding"as Tammara but unlike Tammara it does
not restart. I have tried the safe switch but same problem. I have tried all
other test and found no problems

I figured out to do this from the start/run, the problem did not occure in
safe mode, so how do I know which add on is causing my problem? My AVG was
disabled and so I inabled it, but my problem still occured after restarting
outlook and no longer in safe mode.

Within outlook, ToolsTrust Centre the select add-ins
In manage Com Add-ins, Go Btn
Un tick all the none MS ones (note what changes you made)

Exit Outlook, after a 5 min or so pause, restart outlook, does that help?

When you start Outlook, hold down the Ctrl key. Outlook will ask you is you
want to start in safe mode. Alternatively, click StartRun and enter

outlook.exe /safe

in the Open field and click OK. Be sure to include the space.
