We have Outlook 2003 SP3 in our office and all users are non-admins. A
particular program istalled by MSI injects a form to add menu options in Outlook and this needs to be initiated on first run or it won't work. How can we launch Outlook once with elevated priviledges so the form gets added correctly? Preferable programatically or in the background. Thanks in advance, Stefan |

The application needs to do that under the current user context? I'd call
that flawed to begin with. There shouldn't be any need for this. Things like this should be taken care of during the installation. All else should be loaded in the typical locations accessible by end-users. Anyway, take a look at the Run As command. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "Mr Sweden" wrote in message ...
