I just wanted to comment, now that I have this working, about the arrogance
that Ms. MVP wrote. Our company has now acknowledged that Office 2007 is garbarge and are now rolling all machines back to 2003 and any new ones will continue to get Office 2003. This company has over 400,000 employees and could not work these issues out with MS. So the big dogs finally made a good decision and told MS to go pound sand with this new Office 2007. For an MVP to say what you said just because your are certified by the company that wrote the garbarge is just wrong. I have to say I will never come back to these forums again. Waste of time! "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: Honestly, you deserve their anger for changing versions on your own - you probably crapped up the mapi dll. Rename it .old and run fixmapi. What DL limitation is there in Outlook 2007? (Big companies aren't the problem, the employees are. ![]() -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. "No1_Nose" wrote: Hello, I hope somebody can help here and it would certainly be appriciated. My company just provided me with a new Laptop and it came with Office 2007. Well the GUI not to mention the distro list limitations in Outlook 2007 have forced me to go back to Outlook 2003. At first i tried to just remove Outlook 2007 and then install Outlook 2003. The global distro list is gone, I can not reply to ALL nor can I launch an email from a web page that invokes Outlook. I then removed the entire 2007 suite and installed the entire 2003 suite. Same problems exist. Outlook 2003 still has no global address book nor can I reply to all or invoke from a web page. Does anybody have any ideas of how to get my Outlook 2003 to be normal again? Again, any help would be appriciated and thanks in advance. |
