Yesterday, I installed the updates recommended by Microsoft. One of them was
the SP2 update for Microsoft 2007 Office Suites. After that installation, I can no longer open or find Outlook 2007. The desktop icon is just a blank shell. When I go to the Start Menu and double click on the icon nothing happens. I am using Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 and Vista 32 bit operating system. I tried uninstalling Office but the automatic uninstaller fails. Please help! -- PGP |

Do the other office applications work? If so, start with Office Diagnostics
from Word or Excel. If you right click on the Start menu icon, what options do you have? Thank you for the information. Before running the Office Diagnostic tool,
and after researching this a bit further, I discovered that the shortcut icons were invalid. I ran Outlook from the actual program list and deleted the bad shortcut from the desktop and then created a valif one. All works okay now. -- PGP "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: Do the other office applications work? If so, start with Office Diagnostics from Word or Excel.
