Default RPC over HTTP in OL 2007 on Vista 64bit Home Edition

you messed up the install!!! now you have to uninstall, shutdown, reinstall
outlook and do it all over again - that's too mean. just look in the control
panel for an icon for your 32 bit applications.

"View 32-bit Control Panel Items"

but if you have the settings, you should be able to set up the rpc over http
through Tools, Account Settings, and in the Email Tab is where you would set
up the exchange server settings.

How do I set up RPC over HTTP. It will not let me select exchange server
while OL is running and there is no mail icon in the control panel classic
view to do it from there. What am I missing?

Uninstalling and reinstalling Outlook never solves the underlying problem.

If you can't log on to the domain, you cannot use RPC over HTTPS. Period.
