When I sync my computer to my motorola q9m smart phone the calendar
appointments on the phone go up by one hour and the computer changes the time
on my phone by one hour as well???

Check your time zone and dst settings on both your computer and your mobile
device and verify that they are set the same.

This means the time zone on the computer does not match the time zone on
the device.
