Default Outlook 2007 Install Issue

I am getting the following message when trying to install a recently
purchased Outlook 2007 license on my laptop:

Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 encountered an error during setup. Error
2203. An internal error has occurred. (C:\Windows\Installer\a2850d.ipi
-2147287035 ) Contact Microsoft Product Services (PSS) for assistance.
Etc.

I have Office 2007 Student version, running on Vista Ultimate. I have tried
installing the software with and without the license key. I have tried
shutting down my virus & firewall (McAfee). Someone suggested uninstalling
Office. Any suggestions?
