Default Archive Folders get out of synch with PST files and won't delete!

Outlook allows the creation of Archive Folder that are duplicative or not
linked to an actual .pst file. Please, fix Outlook to prevent this or fix
Outlook to allow the user to delete folders that do not have an "object to be
found"!

What kind of linkage are you looking for? Linking an archive to a specific .pst file has never been part of Outlook's design.

The "object cannot be found" error refers to ghost folders. see http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/ghosts.htm

Completely untrue. Archive folders MUST exist in a PST. There's no way
around that.
