Default Hyperlinking Contacts

I am running Outlook2000 under WinXP/SP2.

There are fields for “Manager” and “Assistant” for each record in the
Contacts folder. Can those fields be hyperlinked to the Contact records
containing information on the manager and the assistant (two examples of
where hyperlinking would be useful).

No, but you could put links to those others in the Contacts field at the bottom of the first page.
