What version of Outlook are you using? Sounds like you might be using OL98
or 2000. The Contacts folder is usually the main source for addresses. Right
click on the Contacts folder, choose Properties and go to the Outlook
Address Book tab and check the "Show this folder as an email address book"
box

Vince,
Thanks for the reply.
I am using Microsoft Outlook 2003.
If I right click on Contacts under Go in the top menu bar, nothing happens.
If I right click on Contacts on the lower left of the window I get two
options:-
Open in New Window, or
Navigation Pane Options.
Any further suggestions.
Thanks,
Stan W.

O/K...... One problem fixed - another opens up.
Outlook address book now opens using Contacts but approx. 30% of entries are
out of alphabetical sequence, using the wrong name first.
Some are duplicated using a fax number in place of a email address.
I can double click on the offender and the Contacts window opens with the
correct information in the correct order.
Any clues?

That happens by default.
You must not be asking your question accurately.
What do you mean by Contacts?
