Default how can I delete empty records in Contacts?

I blundered in exporting an address list from excel to Outlook and created
hundreds of blank records in my contacts folder. The problem that caused is
that the file is now almost 700KB and is too big to sync with my IPAQ.
ActiveSync has actually exported many of the records - which display as
"Unknown"... Until I delete the empty records and get my file size down to
under 100KB, I can't sync my calendar!!!

Try displaying your Contacts folder in a table view like By Category. You
may see them then and be able to delete them.
