MS Outlook 2003 - running Win XP. In syncing my desktop to a H/PC, I
accidentally deleted several contacts from the contacts database on my desktop. Good news is that I have a complete backup of everything on my desktop and should be able to restore. My problem is that I do not know what files I need to restore. What files contain the information for my contacts? If I can determine this, I should be able to pretty easily restore from recent backup info for entire desktop. Thanks, Steve |

The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored. Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data backup or transfer: http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm http://www.howto-outlook.com/Howto/backupandrestore.htm http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...771141033.aspx -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Smart45" wrote in message ...
