Default want to remove one name from distribution list for a one time e-ma

Using Outlook 2000 on Win2000 machine - my boss wants to send an e-mail to an
existing distribution list, but not include one person that is in the dl.
This is just a one-time occurrance. Can you edit the list to remove that one
name without changing the dl permanently?
Thanks in advance
