I have a global address list, and then I also have MY contacts. I have
manually entered these in. First of all, the search does not work. If I click in search box and type in the person's name, it finds nothing. I have already been in the address book and looked at the options (look at this list first) and it doesn't seem to be helping. Secondly, when I am sending an e-mail, when I click on TO button, it only brings up my Global Address List. Even if I click on the drop down and change it. Any ideas on this? 1) What search box? I can think of at least three that you might be referring to.
2) In Tools | E-mail Accounts, under the address lists section, do you have the Outlook Address Book? If not add it, and restart Outlook. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Dan Connors" wrote in message ... I was talking about the "Find a Contact" box from the standard toolbar.
But adding the Outlook address bar from the e-mail options was it. Thank you so much. "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: 1) What search box?
