Default how to view the names in distribution list

I would like to create DL so my recipients could see the name of the DL in
To: box, for example: "engineering group".
But also I do not want to hide from them the names and e-mail addresses. So
they can view who else is in the DL if they wish. I use Outlook 2003.
Thank you.

Thank you, Russ. Can any Outlook version give me such an option?

No. The closest you can come is to create a dummy Contact with the name of
the DL and place it in the To: field. Then you can place the actual DL in
the CC field. It will always expand to reveal the names of the recipients as
soon as the message is sent.

Yes, but what if i have about 50 ppl to CC... And people do not like to see
this long list of names or e-mail addresses.. I was hopping to create
something, so they can just click and view the rest of recipients if they
wish....
