I recently posted this problem twice in both the Outlook General Questions
and Contacts discussion groups but alas without any reply. Please let someone help! I have Office Professional XP with SP3 on a Windows XP Home Edition platform. I wish to add speed dialing entries. Every time I click on the Dialing Options button in the New Call dialog box to an existing contat OR on the New Call menu item in the Actions menu, I have a crash with the following message and parameters. "Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 10.0.6626.0 ModName: outllib.dll ModVer: 10.0.6515.0" I have renamed outllib.dll to outllib.old and repaired the Office installation. I have removed the complete Office XP Professional suite and re-installed it from my OEM cd's. The problem occurs with each version of Office XP from the original discs through to the SP3 patch. I use a voice modem to make calls to my various contacts without any problem but CANNOT add speed dialing entries. Many thanks. |
