Default Cannot save contact

I have a user that cannot save a contact. He no longer has the option to
save them as a .rtf file. Even when he tries to save a contact as a .txt
file, he gets the error, "The operation failed." And this is for any
contact. Does anyone have any suggestions? Do I have to recreate his
Outlook profile?

Thank you in advance.
