When composing anew email, I click on To button and get error message that
address book cannot be displayed. I enabled the Contacts folder to be shown as an address book. This allows me to type a few characters and Check Names. But I still cannot access the address book by clicking on the To button. |

Milly,
Thanks for responding. I am using Outlook 2003. My hard drive crashed, so I copied my previous Outlook files into the same spot when setting up the new hard drive. I can see my contact info and I have already enabled it as an address book by going into properties on the contact folder. This, however, did not solve my issue. Any suggestions? Never just copy an Outlook data file to the default location. That does not
configure Outlook to use it. It does, however, corrupt your profile. Remove and re-add the Outlook Address Book service to your profile. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "John M," wrote in message ...
