Default Outlook 2003 contact phone number area/city code format (UK)

Hi,

Can anyone please advise the correct format for entering a contacts phone
number in Outlook 2003 for a UK number?

eg If the number is 01908 123456 then I assume double clicking into a number
field I would complete as below:

"Country/Region": United Kingdom
"City/Area code": 01908 (or do I leave the front 0 out?)
"Local Number": 123456

How would a Coventry number be handled also eg 02476123456 or even a London
number eg 02012345678

And finally what about a free phone 0800 number?

Many thanks.

Ian Edmont.

Whether you show 01908 123456 or +441908 123446 may depend on any software
you use that makes use of OL contact numbers, eg I have fax software that
wont accept a +44. (International designator)
If you sync with a mobile device as far as I'm aware they all accept +44 or
whatever international #
So its entirely up to you
