Default How do I change country code in Outlook contacts?

Hi, I am using Outlook 2003 and am facing a problem with the Country Codes in
the Contacts Field. Can you please let me know if there is any way of
changing the Country Code as some of them are not correct. Eg. The correct
code for Congo is +243 whereas the default in Outlook is +242.

Looking in the registry, 242 is the Congo while 243 is shown as Congo (DRC).
Not sure of the difference at the moment (apologies for my unfamiliarity
with the region).
