Default place a journal chk box on the contact card for new contacts

When creating a new contact, could we have a chk box for adding journal
enteries to the contact instead of going through tools etc etc......

You can customize the contact form to add the Journal field. See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/contactform.htm

Start with Tools | Forms | Design a Form, then drag the Journal field from the Field Chooser to the P.2 page. There are a couple of walkthroughs among the resources listed wt http://www.outlookcode.com/d/forms.htm

The main issue for not messing up the contact form is to leave the first page alone and do your customizations on the P.2-P.6 pages.
