I imported everything from my old Outlook to my new PC via a .pst file on a
flash drive. All the calendar and contacts show in the appropriate windows. When I click on the Address book icon in a Mail message I get the following message: "The Address Book could not be displayed. The Contacts folder associated with this address list could not be opened; it may have been moved or deleted, or you may not have permissions. For information on how to remove this folderfrom the Outlook Address Book, see Microsoft Office Outlook help." I have selected the "Show this folder as an Email address book in the properties window of the Contacts. I suspect that the problem lies in the way that I imported the information via the .pst file movement, as I am not a skilled user by any means. I also went from a Student version of Outlook to Office Professional 2003 on the new PC. (Not an upgrade, a new software purchase) This one seems far out of my depths. |

Thank you Brian. I am unfamiliar with how to search out error messages in
Help and found assistance here on a Publisher issue and was so happy that I returned for this. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
