Changing email address in PAB

I must be missing something simple...

I'm working in Win XPP/Outlook 2002 trying to modify the email address of a
contact stored in my PAB. I double click the contact name to display the
SMTP - General properties. I change the email address and click OK. If I
display the contact properties again, the email address change doesn't
appear. I have no idea why I can't make this change.

The PAB is obsolete and you should be using your Contacts folder.
