Default Problem with Act! address book

I am using Act! 6.0 and Outlook 2003. The issue is outlook does not recognize
when I put in a new contact into Act! When I am trying to send a new email.
If I try to attach an email the contact comes up fine, it is only when trying
to send an email by clicking the to: button and trying to select the contact
from the Act! Address book. It is almost like outlook is pulling the address
from an old version of the database, but like I said, it works fine when I
attach an email. Any suggestions?
