My apologies Sue and Brian, My Brain shut down for calling them contact
things, Yes it is another contact folder ie. called Email Rules, which I have now figured out how to do file new folder, I have name this Email Rules and placing all the email address asoiciated with these rules in there, ie. ebay, Will the rules work ok still even though I have moved them into this folder now ?? Thank you very much for your time and help and I do apologise about the "contact things again" Gareth "Brian Tillman" wrote: Garethm1976 wrote: What I would like to know though is it possible to create 2 contact things in outlook Do you mean "Contacts folders"? i.e 1 for all my personal contacts and one for the rules wizard so its easier to view my personal contacts, If it is possible could someone please give me a rough how to guide. You can certainly create as many Contacts folders as you wish, but rules operate only on mail items. -- Brian Tillman |

Rules run automatically against incoming items and on demand against whatever folder you select when you run the rule manually.
