Problems importing Excel to Outlook Contacts
Trying to import names and addresses from Excel 2003 file to Outlook Contacts
does not work correctly. Prepared Excel file with exact Field Names used in Outlook and followed HELP directions. Tried both matching field names and mapping. But all it does is crunch and goes 'not responding'. List is just simple names address list with 185 line entries. I even shortened list to five names with same result. New Outlook user - Windows XP machine with 512 memory. Long time MS Office Professional user. Always used Outlook Express, before. New boss wants contacts stored in 'Contacts'. Please help....... Jim
