Default Outlook 2003/Linking Contacts

Greetings,
I copied some of the Contacts in my Contacts folder to a General
Contacts Folder located under Public Folders.
I would like to know if there is a way to "link" my "source" and
"destination" Contacts - in other words, if I update a given contact in
my Contacts Folder and a copy of it resides in the General Contacts
Folder, is there a way to have it updated automatically?
Thanks a lot in advance for your help!
Bye,
Randy
