Hi:
I'm working with Outlook 2000; have a custom form created in which there are several email fields scattered throughout the form. The problem is, when an eddress is entered, some of them hyperlink (underline) and some don't. Please advise on how to fix so that I can create a DL from all eddresses within a form. Thanks for your time. -- Judy |

No version of Outlook supports more than three email fields per contact. If you have added custom fields and want to create hyperlinks from the data they contain, see http://www.outlookcode.com/d/tips/formhyperlink.htm
FYI, there is a newsgroup specifically for Outlook forms issues "down the hall" at microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms or, via web interface, at http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...rogram_f orms -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Judy" .(donotspam) wrote in message ... The recommended web page doesn't explain why, after email fields were added
to the custom form, some of them automatically hyperlink email and some do not (all fields were added in exactly the same manner: Tools | Forms | Design a Form, etc.). Oh well, just one of those great Microsoft mysteries, I guess! ;-) Thanks for your time. -- Judy "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: No version of Outlook supports more than three email fields per contact. You didn't say what "email fields" you added. Only the three email built in fields will act like email fields by themselves.

I think I understand now, Sue. (Correct me if I'm wrong!) When creating a
custom Contact form, even though you are free to add additional email fields anywhere in the form Outlook will only recognize the original three email fields (included with the default Contact form. Is that it? Thanks again! -- Judy "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: You didn't say what "email fields" you added. That's correct. There is no mechanism for adding other email fields.
