A little while ago I had some critical updates installed onto my laptop. I
got Microsoft Office 2003 with Outlook Business Contact Manager. One of the updates was an update to Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager Update. It looks to me as though it (at least I think it was this, I know it was some Office update) also installed SQL Server 2000, or at least MSDE. However, I've already gotten SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition on my laptop, and I would honestly like to not have redundant DBMS's on my system. So, I'm wondering if I could somehow remove SQL Server 2000 from my laptop and have whatever the Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager Update still work? Rod |
