Default Default of Address Book

I wish to have two address books in outlook. Is there a way to set one of
them as the default? Im using Outlook 2003

Outlook uses Contact Folders, not address books. You can easily set which
Contacts Folder is displayed first when you open the Address Book view in
Tools Options...

Yes I know that but the problem is outlook always defaults to the "contacts"
( the folder that originates when you install outlook). Can you set the
default to another folder?

You can't change the default Contacts folder, but you can, as Russ said,
have the address book search the other one first.
