I am saying that I followed the instructions provided at the link you sent me
earlier. If that means I "completely migrated to using the Outlook Address Book", then that is what I have done. All I know for sure is that I am using Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager Update. I "get" my email from Army Knowledge Online (meaning, I have an email account there, and I have set up an outlook account so that the AKO mail is sent to my outlook....make sense?). Currently if I want to send a message thru outlook, I have to either physically type in the email address of the person I am sending the message to, or reply to a message that I have already recieved from that person. I cannot compose a new message and select addressees from my Contacts list and send that email.....I get the error message that I mentioned earlier. One of your counterparts mentioned yesterday that I might have configured this outlook account incorrectly, but did not say how to fix it. I have spoken with my peers who have done the same steps to configure their outlook to retrieve mail from AKO, and they are not having these problems. Any help you can provide is appreciated. The instructions I posted have multiple scenarios. I have no idea which you
used. That message indicates that you have not configured your mail account correctly. Not sure how we can help you with that since only you have those instructions. OK, When I clicked on the link that you sent me, I was given three Plans to
chose from....the website did not recommend Plan 1 (which was basically do nothing). And Plan 3 ("Migrate the entire PAB") had me complete most of the steps in Plan 2 ("Add new contacts to the Contacts folder and eventually migrate the PAB"). Again, this is what I did. But I still cannot send a new message when addressing it from the Contacts. I can however send a "reply" to a message I have already recieved. Does this have anything to do with the fact that the email is not actually being delivered directly to my computer. What I mean is that I set up the outlook account so that I could still access all of the email messages from another computer (like at a library or something) by going to the Internet, then logging onto Army Knowledge Online (AKO). Read the last line of my post. I told you what it means. It means that the
address format in the message you are sending is not recognized by your mail transport.
