Default eMail Mail Merge using Outlook 2002

Sue, is this also true if you are trying to send a Plain Text email mail
merge?!

Correct. Mail merge to HTML format = no security prompt. Any other mail
merge = security prompts. Works the same in 2002 and 2003.

When you say it is possible in Word 2002 is that just for HTML format? Is
Word 2003 the same as Word 2002 with respect to mail merge and security
pop-ups?

No, there is no security setting that you, as an end user can change. If
you
had Word 2002, it would be possible, but not with Word 2000. You may want
to
consider one of the tools listed at
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/mail.htm#massmail that doesn't trigger
security prompts.
