When I want to send a message to someone, and click on the "to" field to
insert their name, outlook cannot find their name - yet their name shows up in the contacts list. What am I doing wrong? Some names appear, but most don't. Thanks. |

You may have to remove and reinstall the Outlook Address Book service, especially if this was an upgrade from Outlook 2000 IMO.
Tools-Options-Mail Setup-Accounts-Directories-View or Change. Select the Address Book service and click remove. Back up one step and re-install it. Close and restart Outlook. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Thanks Milly, I've tried this and unfortunately it did not help. I'll keep
trying to find an answer :-) "Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: You may have to remove and reinstall the Outlook Address Book service, especially if this was an upgrade from Outlook 2000 IMO.
