After perfoming a search for contacts, the search results will disappear if
the user selects a new 'Current View' from the left hand navigation pane.
Even if the user reverts back to the original view in the navigation pane,
the search results will not reappear. Furthermore, the user cannot simply
re-execute the search with the phrase already in the search field, but must
clear the existing search, re-enter the phrase and perform a new search.

We also note that the search options originally provide the option to
'Search All Contacts,' but once chosen, the user has NO option to revert back
to only searching the current folder!
